RSS Feeds: I made one, this is mostly about that
The big point of this post is just to test out if the RSS feed I've created (and will have to manually update heh) is working right. I've already populated it with the last post, so we'll see how this one looks when it updates.
Just to do an actual blog bit, today was really nice. Went out for a walk with my gf who has broken one of her toes so she's in a foot thing and we went slowly. First we stopped by this nice Italian-style cafe nearby (actually run by Turkish people and so the food is really good), and I had a kimchee cheese toastie that was great, went by some DIY store and bought bungee straps for my new foldable bike, then went to Aldi and bought some stuff for food. Then I made vegan lasagna from scratch (well, ie. I bought all the ingredients) but from a Gusto recipe we'd made previously, and it was goooood.
I'm also going to try something else... embedding a bluesky post, why not!

This is after checking and... it worked! Woohoo!
So this blog now is basically set up as much as I expect to, until I get the bug to learn more about web development which may happen. I have thought about whether I want to add comments on these posts and I kind of DON'T want them. I don't want to give room to assholes even if it's just causing me to have to delete things, and also I do want this to be my space to broadcast out. What I think I may do (and will do for this post at least) is to post on bluesky that I've made this post and then post that link here and say that you can comment on this post by commenting on the bluesky post. I kind of like making someone have to do a little extra to comment, because it will just be a little annoying to decide if its worth it lol.
So any way after this post goes "live" there will be an edit below for that, and also an edit to see if the RSS feed updating worked. :)
